Generally good service by the employees, I think. They try. Limited or just bad Service by the owner or manager. Ok, if you have an emergency plumbing issue, but don’t waste your time if you want paint, for example. Overpriced. Customer service very low priority. I wrote this several years ago. Since then, service has vastly improved and I love shopping here

This place is awesome, they took really good care of me and were quick and helpful. 3rd generation owner Kristen was seriously a bright spot in trying to get something super quickly and she was soooo friendly. Really appreciated her! Shop local y’all!

Stokes Hardware is an amazing and honest company!!! They go beyond your expectations and Kirsten is an absolute joy to speak with every time I call!!! If you are not sure exactly what you need they will definitely lead you towards the right direction l!

This used to be an ace Hardware store back in the day but I believe the owner passed away and left it to his or her granddaughter or daughter she is amazing great customer service I definitely will be back. I didn't find my battery but they directed me to the right place they're very kind people I love this place I just love it

Some prices may be kind of high on some items but I swear to you this is the only place you get through customer service from each employee Lowe’s, The Home Depot or any other hardware store never treat you the way you’re treated here

First time ever!!!!! Today I experienced the best hardware store. My daughter's window glass was broken. She found this place near her place. As soon as I walked in there I felt like I have been going there forever. I asked them do they install glass. They informed me no. Just cut. I just so happened to bring the old frame with me. They took the frame and worked on it. I also had two screws that broke inside the frame and they removed that also. This place has been passed down from Grandfather to father and now daughter. Has been in the family for over 70 yrs. If I am ever in this area again, I will be coming back here again. Even if it is just to say hello. Very friendly atmosphere and i felt like I was talking with people I have known for years. Thank you very much for still being there.

This is the best hardware store west of the Mississippi. Plenty of helpful staff on hand standing at attention and ready to help. They went above and beyond the call of duty for me today. I needed a sheet of diamond sheet metal to replace the grill grate in my charcoal grill, and I needed it cut to size. They had the grate, then carefully measured and cut it to my specifications. If you are a DIY person this is a great HW store filled with experienced employees, no pressure and great environment and prices. Highly recommend.
